The whole of Zerain is like a museum, as it is a living cultural park close to the Aizgorria country park. The village is famous for its people and its products: Idiazabal cheese, black beans, pippin apples, quince jelly and honey. Its ethnographic museum, recommended for school-age children, has a display showing the evolution of farming tools. You can also visit the old prison for miners built in 1711. You can take a guided tour of the sawmill and also see the furnaces in the Aizpea mine, exploited by English companies at the end of the 18th century, and later by the Germans. At the end of the visit you can see a slide show. Guided tours by prior arrangement.
