Small but perfectly formed, Café Kick is a tiny gem of a bar on so-cute-it-hurts Exmouth Market, opposite the world-famous Moro restaurant. It is not to be confused with its larger sister, Bar Kick, near Old Street. Through the glass and wooden-framed doors, the eager visitor will squeeze past three babyfoot tables (which can be booked free of charge), to a ramshackle selection of tables and booths framing the bar, which has flags and vintage football paraphernalia hung all about. The bar staff are friendly and laid back, serving great cocktails, Iberian beers and simple, good Portuguese-inspired food. Come for the beer and a game of babyfoot, and to soak up the unique atmosphere.
