Shop Like a Kardashian
One of the best parts of traveling is the shopping, and no one knows shopping better than the Kardashians: Kim, Khloe, Kourtney and … well, all the other ones. But you don’t need a famous family or a rap star boyfriend to drop some dollars at these star sisters’ top shops. So don your dark glasses, grab your iced latte and take our tour.

Kardashians Are the “Pretty Women” Here
The Kardashians call LA home, so they know the ultimate in fashion begins on Beverly Hills’ Rodeo Drive. This year Kim took part in the opening of Valentino. Kourtney visits Juicy Couture and Barneys, among the other 100-plus luxurious shops and hotels along three palm-lined blocks. The Harry Winston “Traffic” diamond necklace costs $89,000 — but hey, at least Rodeo parking is free! The Beverly Center is a bit more affordable. Kim regularly takes Manolo strolls through this eight-story mall, known for its views of the Hollywood Hills. Anchors like Bloomingdale’s and Macy’s are joined by160 stores ranging from the classic (Burberry, Versace) to retail staples (Aeropostale, Victoria’s Secret) to stores promoting the sunny Southern California lifestyle (Divine, Ferrari — who knew Ferrari made shoes? — and Beach Bunny).

Georgetown, Washington, DC
US Capital, World-Class Shopping
Census numbers place seven of the country’s 10 richest counties in the DC area, and with them comes great shopping. Maybe that’s the real reason Kim attended the White House Press Correspondents’ Dinner in April?A short drive from DC, popular Tysons Corner Center (McLean, Va.) offers classics like Lord & Taylor, Macy’s and Bloomingdale’s (and shopping packages from the Ritz-Carlton). An easy Metro ride north of DC, Chevy Chase (Saks, Jimmy Choo, Neiman Marcus) makes a worthwhile day trip. But with stores for all price ranges, boutiques, cobblestone streets, taverns and art galleries, Georgetown is a must. The people-watching is outstanding as residents, students, tourists and famous faces wander M and Wisconsin Streets, explore the C&O Canal, enjoy cocktails at Potomac riverfront restaurants, and dance the night away at the countless bars and clubs.

Fun (Shopping) in the Sun
For the last two seasons of Kourtney & Khloe Take Miami, the sisters stormed South Florida as they opened a new location of D-A-S-H, a boutique specializing in celebrity clothing and swimwear labels like La Rok, Vix and D’Amore. Kim joins the cast full-time for the January 2013 season, so you can be sure the girls will be “researching” other stores along Ocean Drive, Lincoln Road and Espanola Way: Curve, Envy Collection, Aldo and Genius Jones toy store for Kourtney’s kids Mason and new baby Penelope. For fun, they’ll relax among the pretty people at sidewalk cafes and art deco hotels like the Colony and the Avalon as flocks of wild green parrots whistle from the palms. And at night, clubs like Dream and SkyBar will beckon with hot rhythms — sure to inspire Kim’s boyfriend, Kanye West, who is rumored to appear on the show.

Breakfast at Tiffany’s, and Prada, and Henri Bendel …
Nothing heals a broken heart like shopping in New York — and opening another D-A-S-H boutique. So after Kim’s divorce from 72-day husband, Brooklyn Net Kris Humphries, Park, Fifth and Madison Avenues held much help during shooting breaks while she filmed Kourtney & Kim Take New York. From Tiffany & Co. to Chanel and the original Saks, some of the world’s most-iconic stores reside along this moneyed Midtown span. Today Kim is clearly feeling better — she and Kanye (himself a designer so involved in her attire, he even helped clean out her closet) have also wandered Chelsea, a West Side neighborhood known less for its Alexander McQueen and Stella McCartney stores than its ethnic shops and boutiques, architecture and art galleries. Foodies love the Chelsea Market, and the High Line is a popular park and social destination.
