Travel Channel presents its first-ever “Trip of a Lifetime” television special and sweepstakes launching on Sunday, Jan. 27 at 8|7c. In the spirit of HGTV’s Dream Home, Travel Channel and its stars are building the ultimate 2-week travel itinerary. This dream trip will be based in the buzz-worthy destinations surrounding the Adriatic Sea, including Croatia and Italy, and feature multiple mind-blowing excursions, jet-set travel, unprecedented exclusive access, and incredible once-in-a-lifetime experiences.

The 2013 “Trip of a Lifetime” destinations will include dozens of itinerary highlights, and exclusive events within that destination, allowing the audience to build and customize their own “Trip of a Lifetime” itinerary. The winning travelers will get to jet away on their own dream itinerary, with an approximate retail value of $100,000.

The “Trip of a Lifetime” special will be hosted by Samantha Brown and feature a core group of Travel Channel stars on location, including Bert Kreischer, Adam Richman, and Anthony Melchiorri, revealing the stunning highlights of this dream trip. And because it’s from Travel Channel, the show will feature some of the most unexpected, exclusive and outside-the-guidebook experiences imaginable.
