History: In 2001 Mexico City native Enrique de la Torre brought his hometown recipes across the border to Phoenix, Arizona, and made a super-sized torta the centerpiece of his menu -- La Torta del Ray, or the Torta of the King.

Ingredients
Telera roll
Ham
Mozzarella cheese
Breaded beef
Sausage
Eggs
Avocado
Beans
Tomatoes
Onions
Jalapenos

Directions
Place the ham and cheese, breaded beef, sausage and pork on the flattop to cook, once the meats are cooked, slice the telera roll and add the pork, breaded beef and ham and cheese. Then, make an omelet and fold in the cooked chorizo and sausage. Next, add the omelet to the meat layers, followed by the avocado, beans, tomatoes, onions and jalapenos.
