Alonzo Bodden
Host
Alonzo Bodden is the host of America's Worst Driver, but you may know him as a comedian and the grand-prizewinner on Season 3 of Last Comic Standing. Alonzo became a regular judge after winning the big prize.
Alonzo didn't always make his living as a stand-up comic. A graduate of Aviation High School, he earned his paycheck for 9 years as a jet mechanic for Lockheed and McDonnell Douglas. While comics around the country were making audiences laugh at airline jokes, Alonzo was working on the top-secret Stealth Bomber. It was during a stint as a trainer that Alonzo discovered his ability to entertain a group of people. Alonzo enrolled in a comedy class and the rest, as they say, is comedy history.
In addition to his career as a comedian, Alonzo has appeared in movies, including 'Scary Movie 4,' 'Bringing Down the House' and 'The Girl Next Door.' On television he has played a bouncer, crook, security guard and cop on shows like Angel, Grounded for Life and Profiler. Alonzo has appeared as a regular correspondent on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and as the host of Speed Channel's new 101 Cars You Must Drive.
Jill Simonian
Co-Host
A pretty bad driver herself, Jill Simonian can relate to fellow steering-wheel-impaired citizens around the country. The co-host of America's Worst Driver has a history of fender-benders, speeding tickets and parking citations (much to the chagrin of her father, who races cars as a hobby).
When she's not causing havoc on the road, you can often find Jill talking about movies and entertainment on television. She was a contributor for Hollywood Dailies and also co-hosted The Big Tease on the cable/satellite network Reelz Channel for 3 years. Jill has appeared on CNN/Headline News' Showbiz Tonight and Extra, the syndicated entertainment newsmagazine show. For KTLA-TV, Los Angeles, she was a correspondent for the 81st Academy Awards (2009) and co-hosted Sneaks, a quarterly movie guide in association with the Los Angeles Times (2008-09). Jill is also a member of the Broadcast Film Critics Association.
A cum laude graduate of UCLA's Communication Studies program, Jill started working in television in 2005 with KTLA's The Audition, a month-long nationwide contest to find Southern California's next weathercaster. She became the Viewer's Choice winner, which led to stints as a feature reporter for KTLA's Morning Show the following year. Other achievements include singing the National Anthem at Los Angeles Lakers and Dodgers games, winning a UCLA Carol Burnett Musical Theatre Award, and serving as a motivational speaker for Southern California high school students. Jill is a former Miss Hollywood and runner-up to Miss California (Miss America Pageant).
