Activities
With the help of local contacts, Tony went spearfishing and visited traditional woodcarvers and drummers. He also watched a performance of the Polynesian dance group Te Pua o Feani and rode horseback through the jungles of the Marquesas.

Tony and chef Patrick Brunel (owner of and chef at Mango) enjoy a traditional Tahitian meal at this new restaurant in Papeete, French Polynesia's capital. They both sample the poisson cru (raw tuna, diced vegetables and coconut milk), tournadeau (breadfruit, fried taro and foie gras) and corori tartar (raw oyster muscle).
