Au Pied de Cochon
Anthony checks out the renowned Montreal restaurant of his friend and celebrity chef Martin Picard. It's Tony's first visit to a restaurant where the owner tries to kill him by feeding him every meal on the menu ... These tasty dishes included "Amuse bouche" (a thick slab of duck terrine), duck foie gras, pumpkin foie gras, poutine au foie gras, foie gras hot dog, halibut fish and chips, rabbit stuffed with foie gras, giblets and duck cassoulet. One of the single heaviest dishes in the French repertoire, the latter is a rich bean stew cooked with goose fat, sausages and duck confit.

La Banquise: At this restaurant, Anthony and a friend indulge in an artery-clogging meal of "poutine." The main ingredients of this Quebecois dish include fries, cheese curds and gravy. But the concoctions don't stop there. They select five of their favorites: one is the Galvo, which adds chicken and peas to the mix; another is the Italian, which seems to entail tossing something that looks like a can of Spaghetti-Os into the mix. Then there is the Kamikaze, which is topped with peppers and Tabasco sauce, and the Three Amigos, which combines four types of non-premium meats in one dish.

La Maison Du Bagel: Eager to challenge Tony on his view of the supremacy of New York City bagels, a couple of students from the Montreal Culinary Institute take him to this establishment, which is rumored to have the "best bagels in the world."
