Enric Rovira Chocolates
Enric Rovira is one of Barcelona's master chocolatiers. His creations are inspired by the architecture of Guadi and the skyline of Barcelona; he has been described as a gastronomic architect. Tony visits his studio an hour outside of Barcelona just before one of Rovira's busiest holidays, Easter weekend. Enric lets Tony in on some of his trade secrets and shows him how he creates his famous chocolate eggs.

Espinaler Bodega
The Espinaler family opened this small bodega in the fishing village of Vilasar de Mar in 1896. Owner Miguel Tapias is the fourth generation of the Tapias family to run this business. Espinaler is famous for its tinned seafoods, canned especially for Espinaler throughout the country of Spain. Anthony Bourdain and his guide Lucy Garcia meet Miguel at Espinaler for a feast of their canned seafood and accompanying Espinaler sauce.

Quimet & Quimet
Anthony Bourdain visits Quimet & Quimet, a tiny Barcelona vermuth bar. He is accompanied by publisher Anik Lapointe and Spanish television chef Isma Prados.  Quimet & Quimet, still run by the fifth generation of Quimets, is known for its variety of vermouth and its selection of montaditos, small basque-style tapas on crisp bread.

Mugaritz
Andoni Aduriz, Michelin-starred restaurant, Mugaritz, is located in the San Sebastian countryside. His approach to cooking is very scientific and attempts to balance high-tech molecular gastronomy and simple earthy ingredients. Before the meal, Andoni and Tony take a trip to the countryside to collect herbs that will be used in the meal.

Restaurant Etxebarri
Etxebarri is located in the Basque Region an hour south of Spain's northern coastline in the mountainous village of Axpe. Owner Victor Arguinzoniz is a self-taught chef and former timber worker. His restaurant focuses solely on grilled foods. Tony gets a firsthand look at Victor's adjustable grills of his own design and the handmade implements he uses to prepare his fish and meats. The tasting menu includes prawns, oysters, eels and fresh chorizo.
