Andrew goes off the beaten tourist path to the island of Molokai to look for a special shellfish with a local paniolo, aka cowboy. He eats opihi, a popular shellfish eaten raw or cooked.
North Shore Family Luau
Andrew joins 5 generations of the Logan family for a traditional family luau. He eats crab, roast pig, poi (made from taro plant roots), bone fish (raw fish mixed with salt and onions) and He'e (octopus mixed with taro leaves and coconut milk).

Andrew takes a trip up the side of a dormant volcano. He hunts wild boar and tastes Na'au (boar heart, liver, spleen and intestines cooked in animal's blood) and boar marinated for several days in a sauce made from sugar, soy and Chinese spices.

Andrew takes some time to smell and eat the flowers on the slopes of the Halakalea Crater. He tries ono with lavender seasonings, lamb with mint and lavender chutney, maui onion and goat.
