Chagga Banana Beer
Andrew travels to the lower slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro to meet some members of the Chagga tribe. He watches as they make banana beer and kiburu, a soup made of sweet bananas, beans and dirt.
New Slope Garden Restaurant
Andrew eats a traditional Tanzanian breakfast in Arusha before going on a safari. He tastes supu, a soup with goat lungs, heart and liver, cow hooves and tail.
Garden of Eden
Andrew journeys near the Ngorongoro Crater to a place Africans call the Garden of Eden. The area is filled with millions of animals. Along the way he eats muhlinda, a traditional Tanzanian side dish.
Andrew visits the Maasai tribe in the village called Irkeepusi. He attends a traditional Maasai Orpul or meat camp, where men eat as much meat as they can for 5 days.
