Nyack Paranormal Investigations (NPI) is a father and son team interested in keeping an open mind about the paranormal. Mitch and Kevin's interest was sparked by many of the reality-based paranormal investigation shows on TV, as well as stories and experiences of friends.
Scientists at heart, and by profession, they find it fascinating that people are searching for answers using scientific methods.
Nyack Paranormal attempts to capture more than a personal experience by using basic tools such as EMF meters, digital-voice recorders, digital cameras and infrared camcorders. They're also developing new techniques and presenting research utilizing 3D-stereo photography and tools new to the field.
Mitch and Kevin are open minded and would like to do more investigating of local houses and buildings as a not-for-profit hobby. They want to understand this phenomena, as well as help their clients to understand. They show respect to all buildings, locations, people and spirits, never disallowing the beliefs of anyone.
Nyack Paranormal found their best evidence at the Old Palmer Burying Ground. They were also featured in Hudson Valley Magazine.
