The elevation at Moore Creek Camp is about 1,050 feet above sea level. The peak of Willow Mountain, just two miles away, is at 3,009 feet and is the highest point in the area. The hill on which the Broken Shovel vein outcrops peaks just 1.5 miles from the camp at 2,225 feet. Grab your sturdy boots if you plan on hiking when you're not treasure hunting.
