The park offers several outdoor activities for adventure travelers, including bird-watching horseback-riding, hang-gliding, mountain-biking, camping, hiking, checking out wildlife and, of course, rock-collecting. Obsidian found at the park falls under the Free Use Authorization, which allows rockhounds to collect 500 pounds per year not to be collected for sale or trade.
