Rides, games and cotton candy are the center of many childhood memories of a family trip to the local amusement park. Those of us old enough to remember a time before the Internet and cable recall theme parks of yore as a much simpler affair. Today's families can experience a variety of parks, from thrill rides to water fun to historical re-enactments.
