The Rock Restaurant
Talk about ocean views — each of the 12 tables at the Rock Restaurant offers a panorama of the Indian Ocean off the eastern coast of Africa. Opened in 2010, the Rock can be reached by foot during low tide, but when the water rises, customers must take a boat to reach it. Once there, you’ll have to tear your eyes away from the scenery just long enough to peruse the seafood-heavy menu. If you’re really hungry, order the Rock Special, which includes lobster, cigal, jumbo prawn, fish filet and calamari, all fresh from the grill.
