Named for its heel-like shape, Achilles Bay located on St. George’s Island is often favored by Bermuda regulars. It may be smaller than many of the area’s beaches, but it’s also less crowded; a quiet cove surrounded by lush tropical foliage. It’s clearly scenic as well, thanks to coral rocks jutting out of turquoise waters where snorkelers can take a break from swimming among blue parrotfish and other exotic marine life.
