Marrakesh, Morocco

There once was a girl named Yela, whose journal was found inside a 300-year-old palace in Morocco’s bustling red city of Marrakesh. Now a world-renowned hotel, the Anayela Riad offers an intimate and luxurious retreat that pays homage to its former occupant and Morocco's rich dynastic history. Guests can ponder the night sky while taking a swim in the hotel’s open-air courtyard, dine in a traditional Berber tent and ascend the terrace tower, known as the “flying carpet,” for views of the Atlas Mountains. Yela made her story here, now it’s time to make yours.
