Like Spiderman in paradise, this climber is one of many who seek out toeholds amid the rocky caves surrounding Tonsai Beach in southern Thailand, a renowned climber “hangout.” Located in the Phra Nang Peninsula of the Krabi Province, this tucked-away little beach has little to offer in the way of luxury -- accommodations lean toward the bamboo-bungalow variety -- but it has climbing schools, guiding outfits and challenging rock walls aplenty. It’s hard to imagine a more stunning place to hook your harness.
