Fleurieu Peninsula, South Australia

You can go hiking anywhere, but there’s only one place where you can go bushwalking -- Australia. Sure, they’re both the same thing, but only on the Fleurieu Peninsula will you be accompanied by kangaroos. In addition to wildlife, the region is also known for its wine. So refresh yourself with a glass of homegrown shiraz before heading back to the deserted beach where, if you’re lucky, a shy platypus or a tiny penguin might greet you.
