Bath Abbey

Bath, England

The Abbey Church of Saint Peter and Saint Paul was founded in the 7th century. Crafted using yellow Bath stone, this imposing Gothic church is also famous for the thousands of bodies buried just below its stone floor. Hoping to leave its medieval reputation behind, the Abbey is currently planning to tap into the city's famous hot springs for a new eco-friendly heating system.
