Beopjusa Temple and Golden Buddha

To honor Buddha’s birthday, we take you to the Beopjusa Temple in Mt. Songnisan National Park in the province of Chungcheongbuk-do, South Korea. Constructed in A.D. 553, the temple features the Golden Maitreya Statue of National Unification, and its Palsangjeon Pagoda is the oldest and tallest in Korea.
