Blanc Brasserie & Gastrobar
Appropriately, there is something Gaudi-like about Blanc, the Mandarin Oriental Barcelona's ornate brasserie. Set just off the lobby in an atrium, the mostly bone-hued restaurant has a ceiling that looks like white honeycomb—a nod to Antoni Gaudi (Catalonia's most famed architect) and his predilection for organic, sometimes surreal, shapes. With hanging plants, low-slung couches, and high-backed, fairytale armchairs, the eatery draws locals for cocktails, high tea and a menu that fuses Asia with the Mediterranean. Hungry? Order the tuna tartar with ginger and green curry ice cream.
