Telluride, Colorado

If the sight of Bridal Veil Falls, Colorado’s tallest free-falling waterfall (at 365 feet) doesn’t take your breath away, the steep hike up will. Across the span of just 1.8 miles you’ll gain 1,200 feet of elevation, passing through the mist of this box canyon fall, before reaching its dramatic summit overlooking Telluride, CO. The turn-of-the-century home perched precariously at the top is the Bridal Veil Power Station. These falls do more than inspire, they also supply 25% of Telluride’s electricity.
