Despite its name, Bryce Canyon isn’t really a “canyon” at all, but rather a collection of giant natural amphitheaters in southwestern Utah. This national park offers much of the same beauty of similar attractions like Zion National Park and the Grand Canyon, as anyone who’s seen its brilliant red, orange and white-colored rock formations can attest, but the national park is much less well-known due to its higher elevation and more remote location. Don’t miss a visit to Rainbow Point, the highest spot in the park, located at the end of a scenic 18-mile drive.
