If you’re a fan of Frank Lloyd Wright’s architecture, then a pilgrimage to Fallingwater in Mill Run, PA, is definitely in order. The Allegheny Mountains retreat just outside of Pittsburgh appears to levitate over a 30-foot waterfall. Wright wanted its homeowners to live within the falls and make them a part of their lives. A guided tour reveals what life might be like surrounded by the sound of rushing falls, as you’re cradled inside a home complete with furnishings designed by Wright himself.
