Grand Canyon Skywalk

Grand Canyon West, Arizona

It used to be that the best view of the Grand Canyon was from a helicopter. But if you're curious enough — and brave enough — get a bird's-eye gander of the famous natural attraction from the Grand Canyon Skywalk. Built in 2007,  this scenic overlook literally hovers over the canyon, complete with a transparent floor, so you can get the best view possible of the 800-foot vertical drop. Around 70 feet wide, the horseshoe-shaped, cantilevered bridge juts out over the rim in the quieter area of Grand Canyon West, just 120 miles from Las Vegas and home to the Hualapai tribe.
