As you make your way down a walkway, you’ll soon see the visage of Dr. King, standing proudly, resolutely, with arms crossed, as he looks out across the Tidal Basin to the memorial for America’s third president, Thomas Jefferson. We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal. What Jefferson penned, King help make a reality, for all.
