If you’ve ever ridden a camel, you know it’s akin to sitting atop a drunken horse that jabbers away in a Chewbacca-like language. But it’s the sports car of the desert. And this group of lucky travelers is heading out on a camel trek, called a méharées, to the stark, wonderfully sensuous curves and sand dunes of the Erg Chebbi Desert in Morocco. At night the sky is so vast it’s almost impossible to believe.
