There’s no better way to celebrate our nation’s independence than in the nation’s capital where patriotism parades down Constitution Avenue on red, white and blue floats and in military marching bands in full regalia. Spread a blanket out on the backyard of the US Capitol to hear the National Symphony Orchestra perform a songbook of patriotism in perfect sync with an explosion of colorful fireworks washing over the Washington Monument.
