Hampton, New Hampshire

This winding 2-way road cuts through a carpet of colors just outside of Hampton, NH. Eager leaf-peepers should head here -- the Granite State’s southernmost Seacoast Region is currently bursting in reds, oranges and yellows -- to see the best trees in show. As one popular bumper sticker reads, “Brake for moose.” These hoofed beasts, as well as white-tailed deer, red foxes and beavers, are a common sight throughout New Hampshire’s thick forests.
