It rarely gets above 60 degrees even in July in this Norwegian port town. To top it off, the fish is fresh, the air is bracing and the landscape -- an archipelago of 6,500 islands and islets -- is gorgeous. Ferries -- not to be mistaken for trolls that are said to have inhabited the region -- serve the nearby islands, so rent a bike and go exploring.
