“Upside down, boy, you turn me, inside out, and round and round.” Diana Ross might possibly have found inspiration for her Motown hit, “Upside Down,” from The Revolution, the Magic Mountain monster rollercoaster that keeps you spinning. Although there are over 100 rides at this 260-acre mega-amusement park, the Revolution stands alone; when it opened in 1976, it was the world’s first steel vertical loop rollercoaster. It continues to dip and dive strong all these years later.
