French Riviera, France

There are 3 spectacular roads that link the French town of Nice with Italy and Monaco: the “High Road” (Grande Corniche), the “Middle Road” (Moyenne Corniche) and the “Low Road” (Basse Corniche). You’ll want to take the Basse Corniche to wind through the villages hugging the Mediterranean, especially Villefranche-sur-Mer with its deep harbor -- the deepest of any natural port on the Med. It’s where you’ll park your oversized yacht when visiting your villa on nearby Cap Ferrat -- after you sell all that Facebook stock, of course. If you saw “Dirty Rotten Scoundrels” with Steve Martin or Alfred Hitchcock’s “To Catch a Thief,” you’ll know what a beautiful slice of the Cote d’Azur this is. You want to be there.
