Utah skiers claim that they’ve found the “best snow on Earth,” and this picture just might prove it. The skier jumping from a cornice -- ski terminology for a large ledge -- at sunrise is tackling the tough Wasatch Back. This area is best known for its long, narrow stretch of mountains and valleys. Once home to miners looking for precious metals, today the region fills year-round with skiers flocking to areas like Park City for both slopeside action (this area is the training grounds for the US Ski and Snowboard team) as well as celebrity sightings during annual events like the Sundance Film Festival.
