Capilano Suspension Bridge Park

Vancouver, British Columbia

Explore lofty evergreens from new heights at Capilano Suspension Bridge Park. Attracting visitors from nearby downtown Vancouver, the original suspension bridge stretches 450 feet across and 230 feet above the Capilano River, offering a panoramic view of this lush landscape. The bridge was first built in 1889, but the park has recently added many features to its 27 acres. With cantilevered walkways that cling to granite cliffs high above Capilano Canyon and suspension bridges that traverse the thick forest canopy, it’s easy to get a different perspective on nature.
