Recognized as one of the world's largest botanical gardens, Montreal's Jardin Botanique has been astounding visitors since it opened in 1931. The carefully managed and artfully arranged gardens lavish the ground's 185 acres, with colorful blooms throughout the year. Not to miss is its Japanese Garden, which includes a tea room and intricate pavilions, as well as the largest bonsai collection outside Asia. In the fall, the Chinese Garden takes center stage during the Magic of Lanterns festivities, where hundreds of silk lanterns sparkle at sunset, luring thousands of visitors.
