The Boyd's Wind Grist Mill, built in 1810, is a historic smock mill in Middletown, RI. It originally had 4 common sails but the Boyd family added 4 more. The windmill was restored in 1990 and became part of the National Register of Historic Places in 2001. It is open for tours on Sundays in the summer.
