Things to Do in Culebra, Puerto Rico

Culebra’s top attractions really are its beaches, and the crown jewel of them all is Flamenco Beach. A designated nature reserve, Culebra is the place to slow down and take in the natural beauty of the Caribbean. Tamarindo Beach

Tamarindo is ground zero for snorkeling, kayaking and paddleboarding enthusiasts. Several snorkel and kayak tours launch here because of the calm, clear waters, which are home to sea turtles and schools of tropical fish.

Flamenco Beach

Before it was named one of the world’s best beaches, Flamenco Beach was a naval munitions training ground. This Sherman tank is a remnant of that past.

Culebrita Tide Pools

Culebrita is one of the smaller islands in Culebra’s archipelago of 23 islands. Explore its tide pools, which are teeming with tiny fish.

Culebrita Lighthouse

Dating back to 1886, the Culebrita lighthouse helped guide seafarers between Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands. Today, it’s a popular site for Culebra day-trippers, thanks to its great views of the Caribbean.

The Road to Zoni Beach

When the sun sets, visitors and locals head to Dinghy Dock. Order a fruity drink, grab a bite and maybe linger for live music.
