Glacier Bay National Park & Preserve

Gustavus, Alaska

Along Alaska’s Inside Passage is Glacier Bay National Park & Preserve, whose 3.3 million acres encompass everything from mountains to glaciers and forests to fjords. Most of the parkland lacks trails or roads, so while a few hardy souls may brave the terrain with a treacherous hike, most stick to exploring the area by boat. Visitors will find an abundance of sea vessels available, including private chartered sailboats, yachts and massive cruise ships. Whatever their decision, traversing this natural waterway is an experience they will never forget.
