With more than 6 million acres of untouched territory, Denali National Park is an imposing force and a reminder of nature's dangerous beauty. Grizzlies, caribou and the occasional fox roam free and wild. Visitors don’t need to be professional hikers to explore this park's awesome terrain; buses provide a great (and safe) way to view these imposing creatures. Of course, little can compare to the park's main attraction: Mount McKinley (known as Denali to most Alaskans). The highest peak in North America, it rises 20,237 feet and is truly one of the world's most remarkable vistas.
