Brooklyn Botanic Garden

Brooklyn, New York

A fragrant oasis in Brooklyn's Prospect Park neighborhood, the 52-acre Brooklyn Botanic Garden consists of more than a dozen different gardens, each with its own stunning floral displays. Established in 1910, the site is home to one of the oldest and most visited Japanese gardens outside of Japan, as well as the Shakespeare Garden, which delights guests with the charms of the English countryside. Not to miss is a visit here in late April, when more than 45,000 bluebells burst into bloom under the oak, birch and beech trees in Bluebell Wood.
