The Allard Pierson Museum's exhibit represents more than 3500 years of Egyptian history. Of the many objects on display, a model of a funerary ship (thought to transport the spirit of the deceased to the Underworld) and a small bronze statue of the cat goddess Bastet are the most interesting.
