Take a trip down memory lane to the days when "hip-cat" style reigned supreme and Sinatra and Sammy ruled the Rat Pack.
While many hotels on the strip moved toward modern renovations and décor, the Sahara remained true to its 1950s roots, and boasts having the best retro suite in Vegas. To a hotel decorator back in the 50s, the Sahara's Ambassador Suite would have been a vision of the future - complete with silver foil wallpaper and a gleaming faux marble bathroom with mirrored vanity. These days, it's hard not to find appeal in the Ambassador's funky retro touches, like the steamy Jacuzzi in the center of the room.
Though Tony Bennett and The Beatles once graced this hotel's halls, today they'd be hard pressed to land in the Ambassador without hitting the tables - this ultra-exclusive suite is reserved for the casino's highest rollers.
