South Australia is an excellent option for cage diving in search of great white sharks. The region is so populated by sharks, in fact, that much of "Jaws" was filmed here. Although many people believe there is an abundance of this fierce shark, the great white is a protected species in many parts of the world, including Australia. Adventurous divers will appreciate excursions led by the legendary Rodney Fox, who survived a great white attack that left him with 462 stitches.
