2. World Championship Sand Sculpture

Over the years, the annual Sand Sculpture Competition in Harrison Hot Springs has become the de facto World Championship. Prospective entrants must be veterans of one of the approved master competitions or be able to present proof of similar levels of experience. With $25,000 awarded in the team and solo categories, the prizes are substantial. Unlike some other competitions, these works of art remain on display for a month after the conclusion of the competition.
