Meet Teri Johnson
Teri Johnson is the creator, host and executive producer of Travelista TV, an online video network with a focus on travel, culture, lifestyle and entertainment. Recognized as a travel expert, Teri’s passion for adventure and storytelling, as well as her multi-lingual talents have taken her to nearly 60 countries. She has hunted with the Kuku Yalanji aborigines in Australia, trekked through the mystical Dogon country in Mali and explored wine regions in 10 different countries.
Teri can be seen as a guest on NBC’s Celebrity Apprentice, Travel Channel’s Stuff Rich People Like and Fine Living’s All Girls Getaway. As a host, journalist and media personality, Teri interviews celebrities on the red carpet for movie premieres and award shows for the SundanceChannel.com, BET, TVOne and more. She is a travel blogger for the Huffington Post and appears in and contributes to several magazines including Uptown Magazine, Four Seasons Magazine and Ebony Magazine.
Teri earned a Master of Business Administration from Florida A&M University and a certificate of achievement from the Universitè de Paris-Sorbonne. She also studied Italian wine at Lorenzo de' Medici in Florence, Italy, and has studied at the School of Visual Arts (SVA), the New York Film Academy and Columbia University in New York City. Teri is proficient in French and Spanish, speaks limited Italian and can toast in 20 languages.
Featured in a number of national advertisements, online campaigns and tourism bureau projects, Teri is also the host of the 11-episode series Fall in the Finger Lakes on TravelChannel.com. In this web series, Teri travels to New York’s Finger Lakes region for some serious leaf-peeping while the fall foliage colors are at their peak, providing an awe-inspiring backdrop as she experiences the area’s best attractions.
When she is not traveling, the Texas native resides in New York City.
