Bert the Conqueror's Guide to Colorado

Filed Under: Colorado, Family, Host Central

Colorado, also known to many as the Rocky Mountain State, is home to some of the best adventure and theme parks in the country. While in Colorado, adventure- and thrill-seeking expert, Bert Kreischer recommends 3 must-see places to put on your to-do list, including Elitch Gardens, Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park and the Whitewater Rec Center.

With approximately 300 days of sunny skies each year, Denver seems like the perfect place to ride the Twister II at Elitch Gardens with the wind at your back or hop on I-70 and head down to Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park to take on the Giant Canyon Swing. If that doesn’t have your heart racing yet,get wet and wild at the Whitewater Raft Rodeo in Canon City.

Before planning your trip to Colorado, check out all the places Bert Kreischer visited. Add these places to your to-do list when visiting the Rocky Mountain State.

How to get there:
Denver International Airport is the major domestic and international air hub for the state of Colorado. Car rentals, taxis, shuttles and buses are available to take you where you need to go for a price.
What to do:

Address: S. 3rd Street just off Royal Gorge Blvd, Cañon City, CO 81212
