This inflated official mascot of the 2014 World Cup (seen in Esplanade of Ministries in Brazil) wasn’t chosen just because it looks cute, but because it represents the 3-banded armadillo -- an endangered species indigenous to Brazil. FIFA will vote on the mascot’s name.
