The parade is a New York tradition dating back to the mid-1800s when the city’s social elite would parade their new outfits down Fifth Avenue after attending Easter services. 960 1280

Since July 2011, French has walked 10 hours a day (all while dressed as a stormtrooper), across the country in order to raise money for the Starlight Children’s Foundation, an organization that provides programs to help lift the spirits of sick children in hospitals. His 3,100-mile trek has raised more than $100,000 for the foundation. 960 1280
